Personal Information

When you use our App, we may collect:

• Account Information: Your email address when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• User Content: Grocery lists and recipes you create, including names, items, categories, ingredients and notes.
• Images: Images you upload for AI-powered list generation (processed but not permanently stored).

Automatically Collected Information

The App may automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and device identifiers.
• Usage Information: How you interact with the App and which features you use.
• Log Data: Error reports and app activity.
• Advertising ID: For displaying personalized ads to free users.

Firebase Services

We use Google Firebase for:

• Firebase Authentication: To manage user accounts.
• Firebase Firestore: To store your grocery lists, recipes, and user profile data.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Store and sync your grocery lists and recipes
• Process images to generate grocery lists
• Track your remaining free generations
• Provide premium features to subscribed users
• Enable list sharing when you initiate it
• Improve the App

IMAGE PROCESSING

Important: When you upload images:

• Images are sent to Google Cloud Vision API for text extraction
• Extracted text is sent to OpenAI ChatGPT API for list generation
• Images are NOT permanently stored - they are processed in memory and immediately deleted
• Processing takes a few seconds, then images are discarded

VOICE INPUT

Voice-to-text is processed locally on your device. Voice data is NOT sent to external servers.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Sharing with Other Users

If you choose to share a grocery list with another user, that list will be accessible to that user.

Service Providers

We use third-party services to help provide the App:

• Google Firebase - data storage and authentication
• Google Cloud Vision API - image text extraction
• OpenAI ChatGPT - AI list generation
• Google Play Billing - processing payments
• Google AdMob - displaying advertisements (free users only)

Advertising

For non-premium users, we display advertisements using Google AdMob. This may involve sharing:

• Device identifiers (including Advertising ID)
• General location information
• Non-identifying usage data

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law.

DATA RETENTION

• When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days.
• Images uploaded for AI processing are not permanently stored.
